Absolute Patience

Dice waited, staring at the coin and the imposter on the table for what seemed like ages after first watching one of them move in the corner of her eye. Sure, the phrase "a watched pot never boils" is accurate, but her pot eventually boiled, and she found that one of the coins she conned off of a person wasn't even a coin. She's not sure what to do, but she knows now that whatever this not-coin is eats Gold, so she moved her pouch off the table after that discovery, afraid of what might happen to her things with the imposter around.
