RP | Moving InNarration Amalric dusted his hands and looked at the interior of the room he was standing in. This was it. This was going to be his new home now. Amalric's mouth twisted in a wistful frown; as much as he would like to remain home where his parents were, he couldn't stay. He had to succeed in his quest. He had to. He placed his books on the dusty desk that stood in the middle of the room. Amalric sighed. He really had to renovate this place if he was to live here in Neustadt. The first thing was to get some sort of bed set up. And maybe a door lock; Amalric didn't want to take any chances of being broken into.Amalric Giving a bit of a small sigh, Amalric took a little more of a moment to check around the room before pulling out a blanket and placing it on the table next to the books. While he was hoping to actually get a bed sometime today, he figured that it wouldn’t hurt to end up sleeping on the floor again.
RP | Change in Name Narration It was approaching night in Neustadt. The market stalls were closing up for the day with most people heading off home, and the guards began to light up their lanterns, patrolling the streets and lighting the street lamps as they passed. Night was when the day ended...and when the criminals came forth. The poor, the wretched, the devious, the cruel, and other manners of individuals emerged from the shadows to do what their law-abiding neighbors wouldn't dare to do. Amongst the homeless and destitute was a young girl with tangled black hair, face smeared with dirt and tear tracks cutting through the grime, her clothes in tatters, and her stomach as empty as the alleyway she huddled up in.
